FAQs

Can I adjust the settings on the light? – Depending on the model you can adjust the time that the light is illuminated for – our product specification will indicate whether this can be adjusted

What IP rating should I use? – We recommend a minimum of IP44 rated be used outdoors and for exposed areas that will get a battering from the weather IP65 is recommended.

Can they be used with LED lamps? – If not already built into the light our range of motion sensor wall lights are all designed to be used with LED lamp light sources.

How quick will I receive my delivery – Orders placed before 1pm will be shipped on a next day delivery (stock permitting)

What happens if a product fails – If the product fails in the guarantee period contact our team and we will supply a complete replacement (we may require the faulty unit back so we can see why it failed)

Can they be used in a seaside location? – yes they can but we recommend some extra maintenance is carried out – a coating of WD40 or rubbed with a Vaseline type product will give them a protective coating against the salt in the air. The guarantee may be invalid if these steps are not taken.

Can I install these lights myself? – We always recommend a qualified electrician carry out any mains wiring.

Will passing animals turn the light on? – Yes they will probably illuminate the light unless the light has an adjustment for sensitivity we indicate whether it has this on the specifications of the product.

Are they dimmable? – No our range of motion sensor outdoor wall lights cannot be dimmed.
