Can the LED lamps in your reading lights be replaced?
No our range of reading lights come with the LED hard wired into the fitting.
What happens if the LED fails?
We provide a comprehensive guarantee with all of our lights, if you do experience a failure (very rare) contact our team and a complete replacement fitting will be sent to you.
What is the lifespan of these lights?
Our reading lamps have a rated life of 30,000 hours minimum, considering these lights are normally only used for a short period every day this gives you a lot of years of consistent use.
Do they need a transformer?
All our reading lights require a transformer as the LED’s work on low voltage, this is supplied with all fittings and either built in or supplied separately. The 240 volt mains supply connects to this transformer.
Can you supply your lights in 12 volt or 24 volt DC types?
Yes we can, we have a number of customers that want to install these into boats or caravans and therefore we can order certain designs to come supplied so that you can connect into a 12 volt or 24 volt DC supply. Contact our team for details on this, please allow 14 days for delivery of these special order products.
Are your lights energy efficient?
Yes definitely, LED’s are the most efficient way of illuminating, they cost pennies to run compared to halogen equivalents, they also have the advantage of being very cool to the touch compared to halogen types making these also a lot safer.
What colour light do your reading lamps produce?
All reading light fittings come with warm white LED’s which is much more suitable for bedtime reading applications, if you require cool white LED’s for your application we can special order these but please allow 14 days for delivery, ask our team about this.
Can your reading lights be dimmed?
No our standard range cannot be dimmed. We have some products in the range that we can special order as dimmable, contact our team if you have this requirement.
How bright are your reading lights?
Our range have a standard output between 100 and 300 lumens approximately 10-30 watt equivalent which is ideal for bed side lighting any brighter and the light gives off too much glare.
